Humate Supreme™ produces a number of products formulated for the medical cannabis/hemp plant, all of which contain the natural organic humate and mineral base, with humic acid. Humate Supreme™ products continually build the soil, correcting nutrient deficiencies, releasing locked up nutrients, and building beneficial bio-life activity within the plants root zone, allowing for continued use of the same soil or growing medium for future plantings or continued crop production.
The fact is there have been numerous companies attempting to market humates through the years; some have done humates justice, while some have done them harm. In the early years all research and marketing was head to head against chemicals rather than other humates. Most of the fly by night mine-crush-spread, 40lbs to the acre, type operations went by the way side along the way.
Most humate deposits are closely associated with coal deposits, some being an overburden of a coal vein and referred to as “brown coal”. Lignites and Leonardites fall within this category, in that they are closely associated with coal, whereas most can be ignited and actually produce Btu’s. There are unique humate deposits that are not closely associated with coal, referred to as “virgin humate”, a term that dates back at least 40 years to the late 1960’s. These humate deposits are associated with high amounts of natural mineral impregnation, and will not ignite or burn.
Through years of research and testing we discovered the best way to feed any agricultural plant or tree was in the plant’s very own root zone area. The plant’s Root Zone area is somewhat like a small village where the plant’s roots live, thrive, develop, feed and cohabitate with living organic bio-life. The healthier the village (root zone), the stronger and healthier the plant.
The Research & Development of Humaform®, the base formula for all our products, was completed by the late 1980’s, with most products successfully developed, customer and sales markets defined, test marketing programs perfected, state product registrations and consumer recognition accomplished. There had been years of trial & error in the development and/or procurement of the proper equipment to process pelletize, blend, make tablets and bag the products and formulas…in some instances coming up with a unique piece of equipment, specific for the manufacture of these products.
Humates actually don’t blend well with nitrogen, phosphate and potassium (NPK), and there are some very “challenging” handling characteristics that have discouraged product development beyond that of mining and crushing. Overcoming these obstacles, and producing commercially acceptable “flowable” products, was the starting point for our research and development.
In the beginning the earth was blessed with optimum organic growing conditions. The soil had a wealth of minerals, trace elements and rich humus soil teaming with beneficial life giving microbes. The earth’s minerals and organic matter had not been depleted from over-farming, excessive use of agricultural chemicals, leaching or contamination, and therefore the soil was exceptional.
There are two types of Humates. One being of the coal family; known as lignites or leonardites. The other being virgin Humates, which is clay based. Coal based Humates do not attach to soil particles, are easily leached from the soil, have slow reaction to plants and take longer to breakdown. Virgin Humates attach to soil particles, are not easily leached, react immediately and do not need to breakdown. While virgin Humates are considered the absolute best, blends of the two types of Humates can work very well together.
