It’s important to consider the growing medium, and whether it contains any nutrients, either purposely added or as a result of fertilizing previous crops; as the tablets will release any locked up nutrients, and render them available to the plant. Additionally, excessive use of NPK has a tendency to cause plants to grow faster and larger…but not necessarily better.
Force feeding can be very counterproductive on the quality of the plant, as well as overall crop production. You are really after a high-grade nutrient-balanced crop, not a chemically force fed toxic crop.
Seed Planting: Place ½ tablet at seed level, with minimum of ½ inch of soil or growing medium between seed(s) and tablet. If planting 3 to 4 seeds, place the ½ tablet in the center, and plant the seeds around the tablet, equally spaced approximately ½” from the tablet. Water normally
Cuttings, transplants and plants less than 30 days old: 1 tablet per plant, placed at root zone level, midway between plant and the side of the planter or bucket. If planting outside or in growing trays, place tablet at root zone level with approximately 2″ of soil or growing medium between tablet and plant roots. Tablet can be broken in ½ and placed on two sides of the plant. Water normally
Mature Plants: 3 tablets per plant, placed at the root zone level, midway between plant and the side of the planter or bucket. If planting outside or in growing trays, place tablet at root zone level with approximately 2″ of soil or growing medium between tablet and plant roots.
NOTE: If Humate Supreme™ 3-2-1 tablets were used in the seed planting, and/or transplanting of the plant, adjust the application rate to equal a collective total of 3-tablets per plant at maturity. Water normally. Monitor plant and if visual examination, or petiole analysis, indicates additional feeding is required, just add another tablet…one at a time.
When using this product in a hydroponic system, use the hydroponics for watering only, or with our Humate Supreme™ tea.
Humate Supreme™ HA: You can double these application rates if using Humate Supreme™ HA exclusively.
There is no need for additional nutrients, and in fact care must be taken if you do choose to apply additional nutrients, as the synergistic effect of the tablets will enhance the potency of the added nutrients, which could result in damage to the plant. To increase feeding, just add another Humate Supreme™ tablet.
If you add additional nutrients, especially Nitrogen, Phosphate or Potassium (NPK), we highly recommend reducing the recommended application rate of these additional products by a minimum 50%-65% to safeguard against burning or damaging the plant; then closely monitor the plants reaction before any additional feeding.
Humate Supreme™ Tea can be used in hydroponic feeding, or as a supplemental feeding with the plant tablets when watering your plants. The tea is an extract of humic acids, natural nutrients and other herbs, in a liquid concentrate; and is best used with new planting (seed and clone), or when changing from chemical hydroponics to the plant tablet regime.
You use 1oz. per gallon of chlorine free (bottled or filtered drinking) water, if using as a supplement to the plant tablets, or 1 oz. per gallon if used as the sole source of feeding. The tea will not spoil or become stagnant, so it’s not necessary to use the whole gallon at once. The tea can be applied with a watering can, or drip system.
Humate Supreme™ Potting Soil Activator is a concentrated mix of Humate Supreme™ HA soil amendment and humic acids, prepackaged for mixing with soil (preferably sterilized), at a ratio of one (1) ounce per five pounds of soil or growing medium, for use as a potting soil in raised beds, green house trays, 5-gallon buckets, and other container growing. This mixture makes a perfect organic and mineral rich bed to grow your plants.
It will also promote beneficial bio-life in the soil; something the plants love and thrive in. At harvest you can reuse the potting soil mix for a new planting or store it for later use. This product can also be incorporated into the growing medium of established plants.
